Birthday Haul

My birthday was Monday and that means a stash haul because my family can always be counted on to buy either gift cards or actual stash. This year I got a little bit of everything. Sorry for the lack of pics, don't have a good digicam around.

Mom and Dad gave me a beautiful crystal dish and a set of glass candleholders with candles that will go up on my mantle. Candles are my other obsession!

Erich's Mom and Dad gave me stash- a gift card to a local craft store and several stash items including Fish City, some neat patterns of different herbs I might do for the kitchen, a set of mini highlighters, and a Dimensions Gold Nugget kit.

Erich wins the prize though. He sent flowers to my pharmacy, took me out for a fancy dinner, and gave me a wad of cash to spend on stash. We had a day off together last week so we took a trip to the not-so-local needlework shop and here's the haul:

~19 skeins of Weeks Dye Works for various ornaments
~1 skein of Caron Waterlilies
~2 skeins of Caron Wildflowers
~7 skeins of GAST
~2 skeins of Crescent Colours
~2 Mill Hill Treasures
~7 packages Mill Hill Beads
~2 packages of John James tapestry needles
~JCS ornament issue 2003 (they had a copy hiding in a pile of magazines)
~1 mesh bag

See how good I was? I only bought one magazine, no charts. Everything else is going to go for ornaments and various other projects in the wings that I needed supplies for. And I still have a bit of money leftover too, plus some from my sister-in-law's family and a few gift cards from Christmas. At least one of those gift cards will be used this weekend for the big floss sale at Joann's. Now if the mailman would bring my Silkweaver order I'd be all set for Guilt Free January.

Tune in tomorrow for another QS Dragonfly pic.
