Going to miss my stitching goal this week...

...but for a very good reason!

Since my dear husband is out this evening, I had been planning on going home after work tonight and stitching away on the 4th page of Noah's Sub, with the optimistic goal of finishing the 4th page by the end of Sunday. However, a friend of mine invited me to dinner tonight and I'm going to try to teach her to stitch at her request. I'm so excited to expose another person to the world of stitching. So much to learn, so many stitching-related accessories and products to show her.

I'm planning to give my stash a quick going-through when I get home and pull out some kitted up ornaments to take with me tonight. Hopefully she'll catch on quick. I really think she will, she's a very patient person and has always admired any of my work that she's seen.

And it looks like I've been tagged by Christine:

The rules:List seven songs you are into right now. No matter what the genre, whether or not they have words, or even if they're not any good, but they must be songs you're really enjoying now. Post these instructions in your blog along with your seven songs. Then tag seven other people to see what they're listening to.

1.Before He Cheats-Carrie Underwood
2.The World-Brad Paisley
3.Bad Day-Daniel Powter
4.Big Time- Big & Rich
5.Holy Water- Big & Rich
6.The Woman With You-Kenny Chesney
7.The Good Stuff-Kenny Chesney

Another country fan here! Not sure who to tag, most everyone I read has done this one already so if you haven't yet-consider yourself tagged:)

More later, and perhaps a pic if I get close to my goal. No work tomorrow, so I may be able to get a fair amount of stitching in. Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Did your friend learn to CS? It will be fun for you to have someone to Cross Stitch with.

Those are all great songs! Good to see that there's more country fans out there.

Like the songs, hope you had a great time stitching, teaching, or just talking whichever it ended up being.
