First finish of 2008 and it's Celtic Christmas! I put the last bead in last night at almost midnight and I'm very happy to be done. I honestly thought the beading would never end but it is well worth it and I can't wait to show my Grandma. I started this piece for her in 2005 and she's been waiting patiently for it since then. She stitches too but didn't think her eyes were good enough to do this one so I did it for her. Last time I saw her she was picking out a spot on the wall for it and said she's hanging it year round so it's nice to see that the piece is going somewhere where it'll be appreciated:)
What? Oh, you wanted a pic or two, didn't you? All right, I actually got the camera to focus pretty nicely and even show off a bit of sparkly. Here she is...
The beaded border that went on and on...
I think I'll pick up QS Believe next for awhile and see if I can at least finish my current page. Off for a quick shower now and then to sit down and stitch for a bit before the inlaws get here for a little Sunday afternoon barbecue since the weather gods have decided to bless us with some sun and 60+ degree temps today.

Congrats on finishing her! I stitched her for my MIL a few years ago - I know what you mean about the never ending beading....
She's gorgeous though - and worth all the work!
Congrats on the finish. Isn't it the best feeling to get a long term WIP done?
Huge congrats!
CC was the first big finish I ever did, back in the dark ages when I didn't know you could go online for help and suggestions. I still love her to pieces :)
