January 3: Are you starting something new to celebrate the New Year or participating in "Guilt Free January?" If so, what are you planning on starting?
Yes! I have decided that I like the tradition of starting something new with the new year and for the second year I started a new project on 12/31 and stitched on it the evening of New Year's Eve on into the new year. Last year it was QS Dragonfly from HAED and this year I started the companion piece, QS Believe. Here's my progress after a couple days but I have put a few more stitches in since then so I'll have to get it on the scanner again soon. The purples are quite vibrant in real life, much more than the original art which can be seen here.
As for Guilt Free January, I'm participating but not as much as last year. I know I really don't need another BAP going with all the others I already have but I really want to start a full-sized HAED so I'm just going to do it. I've had the chart for awhile and I got the floss in the big clearance at Walmart so all I needed was the fabric which I got thanks to a Christmas GC. I'm planning on starting Lisa Victoria's Dragon Moon which can be seen here. Not sure when I'll start yet but sometime before the end of the month.
