Have you had your Paczki today?

Would you even know what to do with paczki if you had them? For my non-Polish readers or anyone who doesn't, click here and that should give you a decent explanation and picture. Out of curiousity, how many of you knew without clicking?

I grew up in the Polish neighborhood of my hometown so I've had my share of paczki and did purchase a small box on the way into work this morning to share with my coworkers. It's hard to believe that is time for Lent to start already. I'm not giving up anything this year but am planning to continue my attempts to become a healthier person with better food choices and more exercise.

I am anxious for Easter though and all the Spring weather it will hopefully bring us:) Spring is my favorite time of year, with Fall being a close second. I love to see the leaves pop on the trees that have been dead all winter and the tulips and crocuses poke through the ground.

I promise some new stitching pics tomorrow. I was planning to work on QS Dragonfly over the weekend but got sidetracked by Titania instead and have got quite a lot done.

I knew! I knew! And I get lots of funny looks when I say it in view of a sign or a box with the written word on it. "Poonchkey? Pazz-key? Whafu?" LOL

I forgot to make a stop and pick up a dozen for the office. Maybe it's a good thing, though as allegedly we're all dieting. So I guess I'll pick up a 4-pack at Jewel (so NOT the same but ya gotta do what ya gotta do) for the family.

I've never heard of those, but they look fantastic!

Yay, I'm glad I'm not the only one who knows:) Jenn-I had people asking me how to pronounce the name all day!

Karin, you must try them. So much better than a regular donut!
