Polar Lights Sampler Update

It's been awhile since I worked on this one but it was calling recently so I pulled it out and have been working on it exclusively for about a week or so except for this weekend which is HAED SAL Challenge Weekend so I've got my QS Pegasus and Castle Bubble out. I'm happy to say that I've got a nice outline of the Pegasus Bubble going too:)

But back to Polar Lights- I had picked it up a few times since this pic but before this past week's work on it. Here's what it looked like on 3/20/06 when I last took a picture...

And here's what it looks like as of 8/8/07...

I think that's probably the last time I'll be able to fit the whole thing on the scanner! I'm definitely planning on taking this one on vacation with me which is now only 6 more sleeps away in case you were wondering. I've been toying with the idea of a new start but probably should work on some of my other WIPs. Maybe I'll take a few ornaments to work on, then I'll have some new starts and hopefully some HDs too:)

Speaking of vacation, we've finally got our plans all finalized and will be spending 3 nights in Nashville, TN before we head over to Bristol, TN for the Nascar weekend there. Should have some fun shopping to report when I get back as this is my exception for The Wagon and I think DH might chip in a bit of money too. There may be some wicked enabling going on too as it sounds like the Nashville BBers want to have a get together and it sounds like they're bringing all sorts of things to tempt us all with. I'm really looking forward to that though as I've not met any of the Nashville ladies yet so it should be a good time. I just have to survive this week and the two 13 hour shifts that go with it!

An update to the 101 list- I completed #9 which was learn how to make a biscornu. I finished my first one recently for an exchange and took a few pics of it before I sent it off. Might not get those loaded til after vacation though. So that brings me up to 7/101 items completed.

I think that's about all the excitement going on here for now. Have a great week and I'll try to make it back before vacation.

Sounds like you are gearing up for a WONDERFUL vacation! I enjoyed the pics from the Brickyard - be sure to take some at Bristol. We managed to get tickets for the Richmond race! CAN'T WAIT!! Are you sure you can't make it out for that one? LOL

Hope all is going well!!
